You are the king (or queen) of your domain.

Welcome to the final article in this series.

By now you have a very, very good idea of what meditation is, how to prepare for it, how to perform it, and how to maximize time spent meditating with post meditation exercises.

You are the king (or queen) of your domain.

But what about outside of your domain? What’s going to happen just beyond your castle walls?

It’s the difference between a scientist working in the “laboratory” and working in the “field”.

In the lab, he has control over his environment. Everything is sterile and awaiting his command. In the field, there are unpredictable variables. These variables have the potential to significantly affect and influence his method and results.

… That and his cool white lab coat gets dirty.

In all honesty, he’d rather be in the lab. Life is easier here.

BUT the materials and information he needs are “out there”.

It’s the same with all of us non-scientists. While we’d love to stay home and rock out with our new super meditation skills, we still have to venture out into the unknown.

So, when you have to pause on your at-home meditative experience, pack it up and take it with you.

In order to do this, we will learn how to perform “mobile meditations” that can supplement our at-home practice. This will help to create a continuous stream of peace, intelligence, and power.

What’s a Mobile Meditation?

It’s a quickie.

A mobile meditation is a meditation you can perform at work, at home, or while on-the-go. It’s easy to work with and discreet enough to do anywhere.

Wait, why is being “discreet” important?

Most people you share space with won’t have a working mediation practice. The activity, or the “look” of it, may be unusual to them.

…Which is fine because we’re doing it for us, not them.

The only thing is that we don’t want to draw any attention to ourselves. It interrupts the seamlessness that we’re looking for. The more fluid our mobile meditations become, the easier they are to begin, perform, and finish.

This gentle and playful flow will encourage us to perform more mobile meditations and help us to incorporate them into our daily habits.

Your Own Flavor

The best mobile mediation you ever perform is going to be the one that gets your “personal touch”.

You know you. You know your schedule. You know what activities and times of day are most challenging for you.

These factors will help you decide which mobile mediation works best for you in different situations.

You may choose to use the same mobile meditation every day for the rest of your life. However, there might be certain instances where a specific kind of power-up is needed.

You are encouraged to invest in your at-home personal mediation practice, learn what works best for you, learn what you enjoy the most, and craft a mobile mediation out of it.

In the meantime, here are three mobile meditations you may experiment with to get the ball rolling.

Three Mobile Meditations

  1. Reset Breathing

Reset Breathing is for all of those moments in the day where you wish you could slow everything down. When used correctly, the physical, mental, and spiritual modes of your existence have the chance to align and give their intelligence to whatever activity your investing in.

Visit the link above to learn all about it.

  1. Frustration E-Break

Your Frustration E-Break is a slightly different take on Reset Breathing. Visit the link above to see what the difference is and how it can be of service to you.

  1. Grounding on the Fly

In this article, we introduce a “Grounding” technique. It helps to detoxify whatever unhelpful bits are floating around in your system and give clarity to your next activity. This mobile mediation is a favorite for those who walk a lot during the day and jog/run for exercise.

Visit the link above to see how it works.

In Conclusion

You have the ability and resources to create an all-day meditative experience.

You are encouraged to perform more “quick” meditations than fewer “long” ones. Think of it like meal time. You would rather have several tiny meals throughout the day, than one huge meal.

The mobile meditations are your quick “snacks”.

Combine your at-home practice with these mobile meditations and watch life take on a new shape.
