Ethos Of The Ages
A 90-day guided reflection practice

Why it is here
The Marden books here are about training willpower and ambition. This is the quieter half of the same work: a few minutes, twice a day, of looking at what you are actually doing with the day. It comes from the Ethos Of The Ages channel, which spends its time with the Stoics and other old sources of wisdom — the journal is that, put on paper so you can answer it.
Every day
Each of the 90 daily pages opens with a quotation — most often Marcus Aurelius, Seneca and Lao Tzu, among some forty voices — and a theme for the day. Below it, a morning question to set the intention, and an evening question to weigh the day, with lines to write on.

Every week
After every seventh day comes a memento-mori page: a short meditation on the fact that the days are numbered, and a look back at the week. Twelve of them across the ninety days, with a page at the start on how to use the journal and one at the end. Print it, or write in it on a tablet or in any PDF app.
